Melissa Kearney

Owner and operator, Melissa Kearney, has over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry.

After graduating from the Robert Fiance Makeup Academy in 2012, Melissa went on to start her career as a makeup artist focused on bridal and fashion makeup.

In 2014 Melissa made the decision to go to the Paul Mitchell Parisian Beauty School and become a licensed esthetician. After spending 3 years working for a large franchise in the waxing world, Melissa decided it was the right time to ditch full body waxing and focus on eyebrow shaping and facial waxing.

In 2017 Melissa went on to work for Benefit Cosmetics and became an Arch Expert. After leading the district in services week after week, launching the brow business in new Benefit Brow Bars, and gaining hundreds on clients, it was time to move on to something bigger.

In 2021 Afterglow by Mel was launched. The focus is still brow shaping but services have expanded into lash services, lash extensions and makeup services.
